Receptionist
Job Description:
- Draft various discovery documents and pleadings; prepare proofs of service for all outgoing legal documents.
- Draft, assemble and file motions and other legal documents with the court.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys by drafting and sending correspondence, proofreading, copying, etc.
- Act as liaison to clients and other key contacts.
- Assist other secretaries and support staff as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of half year prior relevant experience.
- Understanding of federal and state court rules and procedures.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, willingness to communicate with the attorneys on an ongoing, pro-active basis.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook. |
